The three-layer CMOS colour camera from Toshiba Teli is aimed at microscopy and imaging applications that require high colour performance.

The CMOS technology of 1440 x 1060 pixels is stacked on three layers to produce a special single-chip, three-colour CMOS sensor.

This means an RGB colour output with no loss of spatial resolution and has a 1,394b interface for ease of installation and use.

At full resolution this progressive scan remote head camera runs at 6.5fps or can be configured to run in different formats such as 700x525 at 20fps.
