McLube water-based formulations are currently being used in a number of applications as a process aid/lubricant to facilitate the installation of component parts during assembly.

In addition to its primary use as a dry film mould release or antistick coating, the use of McLube as a lubricant continues to grow.

Many manufacturers prefer to use McLube as received (ie undiluted) but others are able to dilute it with additional water before use.

As a bulk lubricant/process aid, McLube has demonstrated the following performance features: its clean, nonstaining formulation can be easily sprayed, wiped or brushed onto the desired surface; it does not migrate to unintended areas and will not interfere with any post-decorating operations such as painting; it creates no residual waste requiring disposal and eliminates the associated cost; it contains no silicone oil, soaps, waxes, hydrocarbons or powders; and it contains no solvents whatsoever.
