The McLube Division of McGee Industries has developed a high-temperature chain lubricant for oven chains, conveyors and bearings.
McLube MoS2-505 is a synthetic oil dispersion containing molybdenum disulphide, which will not leave carbon or resinous deposits.
It is designed to protect against wear, rust and corrosion at elevated temperatures, and can withstand repeated loads in excess of 400,000lb/in2.
It will not carbonise, smoke or give any odours while operating at elevated temperatures, and provides high lubricity and a low coefficient of friction.
Applications include steel mills, bakery ovens, oven carts, paint drying and heat treating ovens.
It is useful in dirty and corrosive environments.
