Panel PC aims for difficult environments
The APC-8172 is a new 17in panel PC from HMI and Industrial panel PC specialist MMI Solutions.
The APC-8172 is a new 17in panel PC from HMI and Industrial panel PC specialist MMI Solutions With SXVA (1280 x 1024) resolution and Pentium 4 or Celeron processors up to 3.06GHz supporting Hyper-Threading Technology, the APC-8172 extends MMI's range of panel PCs even further
The APC-8172 is fitted as standard with an IP65 aluminium front panel complete with a waterproof covered USB port.
Four additional USB ports are fitted at the rear of the unit together with a PS/2 mouse port, PS/2 keyboard port, a parallel port and three serial ports, COM 4 being reserved for the optional touch screen.
A 10/100Base-T Ethernet card is fitted as standard.
Additional expansion modules can be fitted to the two free PCI expansion slots.
The unit will support DDR SRAM up to 1Gbyte.
Hard drive options are fitted in a special antivibration housing to minimise drive problems in difficult environments.
