The EX9520 RS232 to RS485 convertor is part of the Expert EX9000 series of distributed I/O field-to-computer modules for use in industrial environments.

The EX9520 RS232 to RS485 convertor is part of the Expert EX9000 series of distributed I/O field-to-computer modules for use in industrial environments.

The EX9520 uses the "Autopro" feature to sense the baud rate of any connected RS485 device between 300 and 115,200bit/s and adapt accordingly.

This enables different baud and datarate formats to catered for on a single RS485 network automatically without user intervention or the need to select baud and datarates using the traditional DIP switches.

This and other modules from the Expert series can be seen on the MMI Solutions stand (Hall 3 Stand 208) at the Drives and Controls Exhibition at Telford between 12th and 14th October 2004.
