Software version contains easy to use Windows GUI, optimisation algorithms, graphics tools to view optimisation results, and a flexible integration environment.

Multistat has announced the general availability of Visual Optimizer v4.0, the first release of the software to include its optimisation algorithms.

It contains an easy to use Windows GUI, optimisation algorithms, graphics tools to view optimisation results, and a flexible integration environment.

"We are very proud to bring these algorithms to the market as part of this", said Vladimir Sevastyanov, CEO.

"We have done independent benchmarking of the product and proved that our products really are 10 to 100 times faster than other products on the market".

"Providing these algorithms in a complete product will make the process of multidisciplinary design optimisation (MDO) increasingly cost effective and enable the use of MDO for new classes of problems".

Version 4.0 can be used with existing design tools to do optimisation on high value aerospace and automotive components.

Its speed and capacity to work with thousands of design variables makes it applicable to more complex problems such as chemical modelling and shape optimisation.

It can be easily integrated with custom analysis programs and with standard analysis packages including Algor, Ansys, Nastran and Genesis.
