The Silver Series Classic line of HMIs features models with some of the lowest prices on the market.

Maple Systems is releasing new models of its popular Silver Series touchscreen HMIs onto the European market.

The Silver Series Enhanced models still include Ethernet and CompactFlash ports, whereas the new Silver Series Classic models offer the same features but without the Ethernet and CompactFlash ports, providing additional cost savings.

The Silver Series Classic line features models with some of the lowest prices on the market.

"With two distinct types of models in the product line, our customers can choose the features they want at prices that will meet their budgets", says Sam Schuy, Sales Manager for Maple Systems.

Both the Silver Series Classic and the Silver Series Enhanced have a host of features making them the perfect operator interface for any automation system.

The Silver Series processes graphics-intensive information quickly using the Intel X-Scale 200MHz processor with expanded memory.

The high-resolution displays support a portrait or landscape orientation depending on the needs of the users.

The Silver Series also supports a multilanguage function, macro scripting language and protocol support for over 80 controllers from more than 35 industry-leading manufacturers.

Other software features include tag databases to make programming easier, recipes that allow uploads and downloads of up to 32,000 registers, pop-up windows that can easily be minimised, maximised and moved, data monitoring objects such as bar graphs and trends, and customisable data entry keypads.

Both the Silver Series Classic and the Silver Series Enhanced use the same programming software - EZware-500, which allows users to switch their programs easily back and forth between models depending on their hardware and budget needs.

EZware-500 contains full-colour graphics libraries with over 500 of the most common symbols and objects.

Objects can be overlaid to perform multiple functions with a single touch.
