Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team May 26, 2008

Seminar will explain how regulations and NFPA 70E requirements can help provide a safe work environment when working in and around electrical equipment.

Mikron Infrared is set to host a web seminar on arc flash and NFPA 70E requirements featuring Lowry Eads of Lowry Eads and Associates.

"Most of us know that the words 'arc flash' mean something serious", says Brett Sargent, VP of Sales at Mikron.

"But, the majority of us don't know really understand how serious and dangerous arc flash can be".

"This web seminar is for any and all people that work in an electrical environment who are concerned about the risks associated with electrical system inspections".

Injuries associated with accidental exposure to arc flash explosions can be far more dangerous than the hazards associated with electrocution.

This interactive web seminar will enable people to better understand how regulations and NFPA 70E requirements can help provide a safe work environment when working in and around electrical equipment.

The web seminar will take place at 1900 BST on 3rd June 2008 on the Mikron Ifrared website.

Interested parties should visit the site to register in advance.
