Minnesota Rubber and QMR Plastics reckon their new website as a valuable technology resource for design engineers needing custom rubber and thermoplastic parts and assemblies.
Minnesota Rubber and QMR Plastics reckon their new website as a valuable technology resource for design engineers needing custom rubber and thermoplastic parts and assemblies.
The new site complements existing support services by providing timely technical information including a customer order centre for tracking orders online.
Product designers will find the new site's library of electronic files useful in their application designs.
Among these files is a newly developed elastomer and thermoplastic engineering design guide.
It contains detailed capabilities on designing both rubber and plastic components, a materials overview section along with related performance criteria.
The site also highlights case studies of applications in many of the markets served by Minnesota Rubber and QMR Plastics along with an extensive glossary of technical terms.
Another section of the site details standard product design assistance for Quad-Ring brand seals, O-rings, Equi-flex rod wiper scrapers and ground rubber balls.
To help facilitate the design process, each page in the site contains a "related information" section that automatically generates links to site content corresponding to the page being viewed.
The site is easy to navigate because it uses the same navigation layout designed into the Minnesota Rubber and QMR Plastics customer extranet site.
