Minnesota Rubber and QMR Plastics offes a range of silicone formulations for overmoulding multiple use medical devices requiring hundreds of sterilisations as well as for single-use procedures.

Minnesota Rubber and QMR Plastics offer a range of silicone formulations for overmoulding multiple use medical devices requiring hundreds of sterilisations as well as for single-use procedures.

These Silicone formulations from Minnesota Rubber and QMR Plastics may be overmoulded to a wide range of substrates including stainless steel, aluminium, Peek and Radel, providing the medical designer with design options.

Minnesota Rubber's proprietary silicone bonding process creates a hermetic seal between the Silicone and the overmoulded instrument.

These bonds withstand repeated autoclaving and inhibit the migration of body fluids between sealed surfaces.

Minnesota Rubber and QMR Plastics provide a full range of durometers, conductive or insulated silicone materials and custom colourisation of components.

In addition, many of Minnesota Rubber and QMR Plastics' Silicone formulations are USP Class 6 and ISO 10993 implantable grade materials.
