Switch range suits safety applications
Moeller Electric T rotary switches and P switch disconnectors are suitable for use as main, maintenance and emergency-stop switches that can be locked in the off position with up to three padlocks.
Switchgear meets new building regulations
Metering can also be easily retrofitted to existing installations, avoiding the need for extensive refurbishment when systems are upgraded to meet Part L requirements.
The Concept 2000 consumer units were specifically developed for the needs of the UK building and refurbishment market.
Designed and built in Britain, the units meet all the latest European standards including BS EN 60439-3.
Extremely versatile, they are of a very high build quality, offer good value for money and are very easy to install.
Standard units come fitted with a choice of 6kA and 10kA miniature circuit breakers, with current ratings from 2A to 63A, and residual current devices.
A full range of contactors, bell transformers and analogue and digital timers are optionally available.
The addition of the Easy control relay adds a new dimension enabling precise sequences of switching and control operations to be implemented.
For example, windows can be opened automatically when a certain temperature is reached, lights can be switched on or off and curtains opened or closed at a pre-selected time or when light levels reach a predetermined threshold.
The control relay's front panel, with liquid crystal display and cursor and function keys, provides the user with quick configuration and operation.
Because all of the necessary timing and switching circuit connections are implemented 'internally' by simple keystrokes, Easy cuts down on wiring thus saving both mounting time and wiring costs.
Circuit configurations can be displayed on Easy's LCD which can also be used to show the user where current is flowing in the circuit, whether during testing and commissioning or in actual operation, making Easy not only simple to use but also very safe.
The consumer unit's double-hinged see-through polycarbonate hinged cover provides both instant visual status of the devices within and convenient access to them and the main switch.
Other features include 16 sq.
mm terminals, one-piece busbar, variable split load facility, and a generous wiring space.
