22 bar range makes pressure switches versatile
The MCS pressure switches from Moeller Electric are available for the control of both three-pole and single-pole applications.
Less than 30 companies in the country have achieved all three certificates.
Steve Richards, the company's Managing Director, said: "All three management systems are essential to the health of our company as well as our employees.
The achievement of these standards makes a positive contribution to staff morale, product quality and profitability." ISO 14001 is not just about looking after the environment, effective environmental management systems help to reduce costs by controlling waste.
This gives Barduct (MPI) busbars a competitive edge and may open up new markets around the world.
The company has worked with local environmental organisations to achieve the standard.
For example, Paper Plant recycle all office waste including paper, cans, cups and toner cartridges, and for every 50 sacks of recycled goods they plant three trees in their tree plant in St Albans.
Wood from the factory is passed to The Chamberlain Road Enterprise, in Aylesbury.
This charity provides work for adults with learning difficulties, who use it to make items such as benches and bird boxes.
Conformance to the standards of all three systems is independently audited bi-annually by ASTA accreditation services.
Continued certification requires continual improvement.
