Moeller Electric has put together a line-up of highly reliable, high quality emergency-stop pushbuttons that is designed to meet virtually every need.

Protecting personnel and the machinery they operate is of paramount importance in the workplace Thus devices for stopping machinery in an emergency are high on the list of essential considerations for all machinery manufacturers and plant operators

Machines come in all shapes and sizes and the environments in which they operate are equally as varied.

Moeller Electric has put together a line-up of highly reliable, high quality emergency-stop pushbuttons that is designed to meet virtually every need.

All Moeller emergency-stop pushbuttons are tamper proof in compliance with ISO 13 850/EN 418.

In other words, the opening of the safety circuit will always cause the annunciation circuit to close and the actuator to stay-put.

Rated to IP66 protection, three types of emergency-stop pushbutton are available in the new RMQ-Titan range.

These are pull-to-release with or without illumination, and key-operated.

In the illuminated version an integral LED is permanently lit or lights up when actuated, according to requirements.

This safety component is therefore easily visible even in darkened rooms, and saves having to fit a separate indicator light.

All three can be fitted with a protective collar which is aimed at those applications where the emergency-stop needs to be protected against accidental actuation.

FAK foot and palm switches with their large operating surfaces can be actuated with the flat of the hand, the closed fist, wearing gloves, with the elbow or foot.

In other words, they allow the operator to react quickly.

The FAK is a very robust component, complete with IP69K protection, and is designed for use in the most demanding environments.

It can even tolerate being cleaned with a high-pressure water or steam jet.

An emergency-stop pushbutton with or without illumination is available from the RMQ 16 range of compact command and signalling devices.

Rated to IP65 protection these compact actuators provide protection in very restricted spaces.

Moeller Electric is committed to the protection of personnel and processes.

It's emergency-stop devices are part of the company's wider safety offering which includes the ESR safety relay, T rotary switches, P switch-disconnectors, and SL signal towers.
