Proximity switches promise reliable performance
Moeller Electric has launched a range of flexible user-friendly electronic proximity switches that complete its industrial automation product folio.
Moeller Electric has launched a range of flexible user-friendly electronic proximity switches that complete its industrial automation product folio.
Because the range includes prefabricated connectors, it is possible to establish connections using existing wiring, thus providing a cost saving in terms of installation, time and material expenditure.
Moeller's versatile range of switches can be used in applications as diverse as robotic systems, tooling machines and production lines.
The range offers IP67 protection and resistance to a range of chemicals, making it suitable for even the harshest industrial environments.
"There are millions of proximity switches sold each year", said Steve Rickard of Moeller Electric.
"The one thing that differentiates our product is its position within the Moeller range".
"This allows a systems integrator or plant manager to have confidence that the part will run smoothly, integrate easily and put in a reliable performance".
The sensors are available in versions providing inductive (LSI), capacitive (LSC) or optical (LSO) detection.
The enclosure shape is either round or rectangular, with the round version available as M8, M12, M18 or M30.
To further add to the flexibility, the range features either a straight or an angled connector to suit different application demands.
Moeller's sensors conform to national, and a host of international, standards and approvals.
