Switch range suits safety applications
Moeller Electric T rotary switches and P switch disconnectors are suitable for use as main, maintenance and emergency-stop switches that can be locked in the off position with up to three padlocks.
Enclosed switch-disconnectors are available in either insulated or steel enclosures that are ingress protection rated to IP65, making them suitable for almost all applications.
The P5 range of switch disconnectors come in two frame sizes with four current ratings of 125, 160, 250 and 315A, with AC-23A motor ratings of 45, 55, 90 and 110kW.
They can be used as on/off switches, and are for mounting in panels and enclosures with or without door interlocking.
They feature oversized isolating gaps to give extra safety to over 690V isolating gaps which are greater than required for 690V, and large box terminals for fast and easy connection.
They come in a compact frame size to save panel space, and can be padlocked in the off position for safe maintenance with added peace of mind.
The modular construction of the P5 range means that they offer maximum versatility.
Modules can easily be modified or added to switches that have already been installed, for example to add Neutral or auxiliary switching functions.
This modular design also reduces stock diversity by allowing universal switches to be configured for their individual application.
The P5 range meets the requirements of standards IEC/EN60947-3 and IEC/EN60204, and has UL and CSA approvals.
Accessories for the range include earth and neutral terminals, auxiliary contacts, shaft extension, a control circuit terminal, and shrouds.
