Device avoids redundant contactors
CMDs monitor the state of the contactor's main contacts and compare this with the voltage applied to the coil.
Switch range suits safety applications
Moeller Electric T rotary switches and P switch disconnectors are suitable for use as main, maintenance and emergency-stop switches that can be locked in the off position with up to three padlocks.
Also included are copies of the X-Soft-Professional software package for fast efficient development of PLC programs and the X-Soft-Galileo interactive software package for designing display screens.
Complementing the XV range of colour touch panels up to 15in, the XV-200 offers a screen resolution of 320 x 240 pixels, in four grey scales, and makes it easy to implement attractive and intuitive user-interface systems for monitoring and controlling processes and machines.
The XV-200 also has excellent communications options, including an Ethernet port that can be used for programming or for connecting the unit to a LAN, and an RS232 port for communicating with an external PLC.
Software drivers are available to suit PLCs from a wide range of manufacturers including the Moeller Easy relay and versions are available with dedicated MPI or CANopen interface.
Both of the software packages included in the starter kit are Windows based and both are designed for speed and ease of use.
In addition to providing powerful tools for display page design, X-Soft-Galileo offers facilities for implementing advanced HMI functions such as alarm handling and recipe management.
It also supports full on-line project simulation on a PC.
Based on the popular CoDeSys tools, X-Soft-Professional is fully compliant with IEC61131-3 and gives users access to a wide choice of programming techniques, including ladder diagram, statement list and function block.
It also offers an extensive range of functions for program simulation, testing and debugging.
