Electrical contractor phases in Moeller boards

A Moeller Electric product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Oct 28, 2008

Phase Installations decided to use distribution boards from Moeller after winning a contract to supply and install an electrical distribution system at a salad packing hall at a Sussex nursery.

Phase used a Moeller Electric MCCB panel board fitted with a 400A incomer as the main distribution board, together with three Type B MCB sub-main distribution boards, one of which was fitted with a 250A incomer, while the other two had 100A incomers.

Loads fed by the boards include air conditioning, refrigeration and packaging machinery.

Peter Stenning, managing director of Phase, said: 'The boards are exceptionally easy to wire.

'In spite of their compact overall dimensions, there's plenty of room for terminating cables and, in particular, the arrangement of the neutral and earth busbars is very convenient.' Phase Installations and its customer were also pleased with the neat and unobtrusive appearance of the boards.

Phase Installations has standardised on Moeller products for future work and has become an approved agent for the company's equipment.
