Available from Motor Technology of Stockport, Ormec's sole UK agents, the free CD is a 31-minute, interactive, multimedia presentation that allows engineers to explore the latest factory-automation technology in an information-packed environment.

No software is installed on the user's computer to view the presentation and the subjects covered include: an introduction to IEEE 1394 and Servowire technology, industrial-PC based controllers, motion-control software and development tools, operator interfaces, factory networking using Ethernet and TCP/IP, and remote connectivity to automation systems.
