Motor Technology has launched a new range of low-cost, miniature, precision couplings for use with encoders, potentiometers, tachogenerators, stepper motors and small servodrives.

Motor Technology has launched a new range of low-cost, miniature, precision couplings for use with encoders, potentiometers, tachogenerators, stepper motors and small servodrives The couplings are described as precision units with clamp fittings, high torsional stiffness and zero backlash that compensate for misalignment

The range includes shaft diameters up to 12mm, with metric and imperial sizes available.

They are suitable for use in temperatures from -40 to 170C and with continuous torque ratings up to 3Nm.

Motor Technology is offering free samples of the couplings and state that the entire range will be available for fast, in some cases same-day delivery.
