Motor Technology is launching what it says is the highest performance all-digital servo-drive for low-power applications.

The Kollmorgen Servostar 200, manufactured by Danaher Motion, has a velocity loop bandwidth of up to 800Hz offering unmatched system throughput and simplified tuning.

The new drives have 24-bit, high-resolution feedback with high performance, which provides smooth motion and rapid start/stop actions for optimised machine performance.

Smart feedback and industry-leading high bandwidth deliver fast and accurate commissioning by eliminating the need for servo loop tuning in most applications.

The Servostar 200 ensures long machine life and protection from accidental damage with features such as: full fault protection, optically isolated inputs and outputs, positive locking connectors, and a separate keep-alive power input that allows rapid recovery from emergency stop conditions.
