Entrada Software has announced that it has completed the acquisition of the entire product line of the former Motiva Software, and will begin offering ongoing technical support and upgrades for customers and users "The acquisition will bring considerable richness of context and capability to the field of document management," said Bruce Williams, President and CEO of Entrada Software

"But our first priority is to stabilize and provide support for the former Motiva customers.

Their commitment is now our commitment; they invested and built a software suite into their business processes and now must be comfortable that help and support is available." Entrada Software will be opening a new technical support center with dedicated engineers and business specialists to provide full three-tier product support.

Entrada has also engaged with former Motiva developers, resellers and system integrators for additional sales and services coverage.

The electronic document management capabilities in the former Motiva product line complement Entrada's Kinnosa product suite.

Michael Burkett, Senior Analyst at AMR Research said, "The acquisition is a win for all parties, with Motiva bringing domain experience at the development front end of the product lifecycle, and an AutoCAD integration to speed Entrada's own product development.

Meanwhile, Motiva users gain support for their investment and access to a broader application suite." "Over time, you will see many new and exciting features that will dramatically improve the product line and offer these customers the ability to cross new frontiers of efficiency and quality," added Terry Simpson, Chief Technology Officer for Entrada Software.

Motiva Software had over 200 customers in 16 countries.
