High performance U spring energised seals are available from Moontown for radial, axial and rotary applications They are typically useful in aggressive and demanding environments but can also be used for hydraulic and pneumatic duty

The M20 series of seals use a range of modified PTFE jackets, complimented with stainless steel or NACE approved U springs, allowing use in a wide range of applications where chemical resistance, low to moderate pressures, reduced friction, and rotary service is encountered.

By using food contact approved jackets and filling the spring cavities with silicone, the M20 series is rendered suitable for use in the food and drugs industry.

Inside and outside sealing axial seals can be supplied for static applications.

Radial seals are available in a range of styles to suit many applications, including extended heels for higher pressures and flanged styles suitable for rotary service, the flange preventing seal rotation.

Seals for rotary duty can also be fitted with metal cases to support higher pressures than conventional rubber shaft seals.

Most designs can be supplied up to 2000mm diameter and special proposals can be made to suit unusual or difficult sealing problems.
