Users can now connect reliably to Ethernet devices even in the harshest environments with the introduction of RJ-45 field wireable Ethernet connectors from Molex.

These connectors meet the Ethernet/IP specifications of both the Open DeviceNet and ControlNet Vendors Associations.

They are ideal for use in environments where Ethernet protocol is used, including manufacturing facilities, water treatment plants and transportation hubs.

The connector's circular, bayonet-style locking design meets all sealed connector industry specifications.

The lock is moulded into the plug, making it more robust than similar products on the market.

The bayonet-style latch enables quick, easy mating and unmating as well as ensuring proper depth when mated.

A compression nut on the back of the plug provides superior strain relief and an excellent seal, yet it is versatile enough to accept cable diameters from 2.9 to 6.4mm.

The plug can be terminated easily in the field, allowing users to customise cable length.

The keyed receptacle housing allows easy, damage-free mating.
