The MTN/1100SHC accelerometer is specifically designed to provide effective vibration and shock monitoring in a wide range of OEM, industrial and machinery applications, where space is limited.
Monitran Limited is launching the MTN/1100SHC, a low profile version of its 1100 Series accelerometer, which is specifically designed to provide effective vibration and shock monitoring in a wide range of OEM, industrial and machinery applications, where space is limited.
The new low profile accelerometer measures just 30mm in height, making it ideal for installation in areas that may have previously been inaccessible, yet where vibration monitoring has an important role to play in ensuring optimum system performance and safety, such as machine guarding systems.
The MTN/1100SHC accelerometer uses proven piezoelectric technology, housed in a fully welded stainless steel casing, to create a rugged IP67 rated instrument with a nominal vibration sensitivity of 100m V/g at 80 Hz and a frequency range from 2 Hz to 8 kHz (+/-10%).
The accelerometer provides a direct AC output and is supplied with a 5m overbraided steel cable as standard, with other lengths and options such as high temperature cable also available.
Suitable for operation in temperatures ranging from -25C to +140C, the MTN/1100SHC is fitted with a 2 pin MS connector as standard, with an optional cable type available.
Designed to be particularly easy to mount, the MTN/1100SHC can be supplied with a choice of M8 or UNF mounting studs.
In common with all Monitran accelerometers, the MTN/1100SHC is supplied with calibration certificate as standard.
The new, low profile MTN/1100SHC is part of a comprehensive range of high performance accelerometers available from Monitran, which includes industrial, general purpose and hazardous area units.
