Monitran is launching a new universal mounting for its MTN/1130 accelerometer to ensure installation is both quick and easy, in applications where access would normally be difficult

Monitran is living up to its reputation for innovation with the launch of a new universal mounting for its MTN/1130 accelerometer.

A proven sensor, enhanced to meet changing customer requirements, the MTN/1130 is now designed for universal mounting to ensure installation is both quick and easy.

With a reduced mounting face and small diameter, it is possible to attach the MTN/1130 in applications where access would normally be difficult or denied, for example on the fins of motors.

Its design also allows it to be easily removed when carrying out maintenance on machinery.

Chris Hansford, Managing Director of Monitran comments, "The development of the new mounting was a direct result of a customer request for an easy fit, easy access and easily rotated sensor.

We responded to that challenge and see the success of the project as an example of Monitran's innovation and commitment to quality and customer service." With an operating temperature of -25degC to 140degC, a high band frequency width of 22kHz and sealed to IP67, the MTN/1130 with the new, cost-effective mounting system ensures that Monitran's reputation for innovation remains unrivalled.
