The Morgoil Bearing Division of Morgan Construction Company has received a contract from Angang New Steel Co for the installation of Morgoil bearings in that firm's new cold mill complex in Anshan, China.

According to Scott Simpson, vice president, Morgoil Bearing Division, "This is a milestone order in that it marks the first time that the Morgoil Division has received an order directly from the customer in China.

Until now Morgoil Bearings were purchased through mill builders from countries other than China." Simpson said the bearings will be installed in Angang's new five-stand tandem cold mill and temper pass mill in Anshan, China.

Delivery is scheduled for early in 2002.

The Morgoil Bearing Division provides a wide range of oil film bearing solutions for the most demanding applications in the metal rolling industries worldwide.

Its parent firm, Morgan Construction Company, is a designer and producer of high-quality rolling mill products and services for the metal industry worldwide.
