Angang New Steel Co has ordered three sets of Morgoil Bearings from the Morgoil Bearing Division of Morgan Construction Company.

As part of the contract, Morgoil will design, build and install the bearings in the company's new plate mill being built in Anshan, China, by Voest Alpine of Sheffield, England.

In announcing the contract, Scott Simpson, Vice President, Morgoil Bearing Division, explained, "This is the second order for Morgoil bearings that Angang has placed with the company this year.

In April, the company ordered Morgoil bearings for its new cold mill complex, also located in Anshan, China." Simpson said that the latest order calls for the bearings to be installed in Angang's new 4300 mm wide Heavy Plate Mill.

Delivery is scheduled for mid-year 2002.
