Morgan buys rights to Tentec's clamp

The Morgoil Bearing Division of Morgan Construction Company has signed an exclusive license agreement with Tentec for the rights to its patent for a new chock roll clamp design.

The Morgoil Bearing Division of Morgan Construction Company has signed an exclusive license agreement with Tentec, of West Browich, England, for the rights to the company's patent for a new chock roll clamp design.

Scott Simpson, vice president and general manager of Morgoil, in announcing the agreement, said, "The Tentec chock roll clamp design is fully compatible with Morgoil bearings and can be used on both new and existing mills.

The product is currently operating in both hot strip and tandem cold mills in the United Kingdom".

He added that the license covers all products, present and future that are designed using this patent.
