Morgan Construction Company has received an order from Zhangjiagang Shatai Steel Company, in Jiangsu Province, the People's Republic of China, for a new bar-in-coil outlet.

According to Mark Shore, Director of Rolling Mill Sales and Proposals, "The new outlet will be added to the company's new Morgan high-speed, single-strand rod outlet currently being installed in its number-4 mill.

The outlet", he continued, "will include a four-stand bar reducing/sizing mill (RSM), water boxes, dividing shear, pouring reels, coil conveyor, and compactor".

The new outlet will produce a variety of quality bar products from 20 to 40mm diameter in size.

"Under the terms of the contract", he added, "the equipment will be designed at the company's Worcester headquarters, and will be manufactured at Morgan's USA, Brazilian, and Chinese manufacturing divisions".

Morgan has now sold two of its new bar RSMs since introducing the high-tech system late last year.
