The Morgoil Bearing Division of Morgan Construction Company has received a contract from Jinan Iron and Steel Co to manufacture seven sets of its bearings.

The Morgoil Bearing Division of Morgan Construction Company has received a contract from Jinan Iron and Steel Co, in Jinan, Shandong Province, the People's Republic of China, to manufacture seven sets of its bearings.

This is the division's third major contract received during the past two months.

Gabriel Royo, Vice President and General Manager of Morgoil, said, "Engineering and technical support for this contract will be supplied by our Worcester headquarters facility, while equipment and manufacturing components will be manufactured at our Morgan-Shanghai manufacturing facility".

"This contract follows two other contracts received by Morgoil within the past three months from China mills.

In September, we received an order to manufacture 17 sets of bearings for Angang New Steel, of Anshan, PRC, and later that mouth, we announced a contract to recondition a hot strip mill at Zhangjiagang Hongchang Steel Plate Co, in Jiangsu Province, PRC".

He added: "These are further examples of our continuous support of the Chinese market by providing our Morgoil technology manufactured in our fully owned subsidiary in Shanghai".

Delivery for the Jinan order is scheduled for August 2004.
