The Morgoil Bearing division of Morgan Construction Company has received a contract from China First Heavy Industries Co, a mill builder located in Dalian City, China.

The Morgoil Bearing division of Morgan Construction Company has received a contract from China First Heavy Industries Co, a mill builder located in Dalian City, China.

According to Gabriel Royo, Vice President and General Manager of Morgoil: "The bearing contract is to support a new two-stand reversing plate mill that China First Heavy Industries is building for Tianjin Iron and Steel Company, of Tianjin City, the People's Republic of China".

He added: "Engineering and technical support for this contract will be supplied by the company's headquarters facility in Worcester, Massachusetts, while the equipment and manufacturing components will be manufactured at the company's Morgan-Shanghai manufacturing facility in China".

"This contract demonstrates Morgan's superior support for the growing 'flat products' installations in the Chinese market", he concluded.

Delivery is scheduled for October 2004.
