Liu takes charge of Chinese subsidiary

Eric Liu has been named President and CEO of Morgan Shanghai, the China subsidiary of Morgan Construction Company.

He is succeeding Michael Wong who is taking the position of Vice-Chairman of Morgan's Asian operation.

A native of China, Liu has worked for Dresser Rand Corp since 1991.

Now a US citizen, he has worked in Shanghai for the last seven years, most recently as General Manager of Dresser Rand's compressor manufacturing company.

Prior to taking that company's top position, he served in as its Technical Director, Materials Director and Quality Manager.

A graduate of Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, China, where he received his BS degree in materials engineering, he has also received a Master's degree in materials engineering from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, and an MBA in international business from St Bonaventure University in New York.
