Angang New Steel orders gauge control cylinders

The Morgoil Bearing Division of Morgan Construction Company has received a contract from Angang New Steel for its HAGC hydraulic automatic gauge control cylinders.

The Morgoil Bearing Division of Morgan Construction Company has received a contract from Angang New Steel, of Anshan, Liaoning Province, the People's Republic of China, for its HAGC hydraulic automatic gauge control cylinders.

The cylinders will be installed in a new mill Angang is building in Anshan.

According to Gabriel Royo, Vice President and General Manager of Morgoil, who announced the contract: "Engineering, technical support, and manufacturing for this contract is being performed by our company's headquarters facility in Worcester, Massachusetts".

"Morgan", he continued, "has manufactured hundreds of new hydraulic automatic gauge control (HAGC) cylinders, which are in operation at facilities around the world".

"Our capabilities allow us not only to manufacture and test new HAGCs, but also to recondition and test cylinders in operation".

Delivery is scheduled for Spring 2005.
