Cylinders set for Chinese steel mill duties

Angang New Iron and Steel has ordered new hydraulic automatic gauge control cylinders for its new 1580mm hot strip mill from Morgan Construction Company's Morgoil Division.

Angang New Iron and Steel, Anshan, Liaoning, People's Republic of China, has ordered new hydraulic automatic gauge control (HAGC) cylinders for its new 1580mm hot strip mill from Morgan Construction Company's Morgoil Division.

The cylinders will be manufactured in Worcester for delivery to Anshan in the second half of 2006.

These cylinders are used to provide high frequency response gauge control to the hot rolling process.
