Two sets of Morgoil KLX bearings will be installed in a new plate mill built by Delhi-based Jindal Steel and Power in Raigarh, India.

Provided by Morgan Construction Company's Morgoil division in Worcester, Massachusetts, USA, the bearings will be installed in a new plate mill supplied by Siemens-VAI.

"When customers need the world's most advanced oil film bearing technology for their mills, they turn to the KLX design", said Gabriel F Royo, Vice President and General Manager of Morgoil Bearing Division and the Rolling Mill Spares, Installations and Services Division.

For their size, the bearings offer the market's highest capacity, leading to lower capital investment and operations costs for a mill with greater savings available from their lubrication systems.

Bearings featuring the KLX technology are now installed or are being installed in 33 different mills worldwide.

"Our customers understand that the KLX is the new standard in bearing technology", added Royo.

Engineering and technical support for this contract will be supplied by the company's headquarters facility in Worcester.

The bearings are scheduled for delivery during the fourth quarter of 2007.
