2006 was a banner year for Morgan Construction Company with five separate orders for reducing sizing mills (RSMs).

Customers in South America, India, and Europe ordered the RSMs, bringing Morgan's total worldwide to nearly 40 strands, far more than any other rolling mill manufacturer.

"Customers are looking for ways to improve steel mill efficiency", notes T Michael Shore, Vice President, Engineering Rolling Mill Technology.

"Higher productivity means greater profits".

"Morgan's RSMs help them improve tolerances and increase rolling flexibility for a faster payback on their investment".

In addition, RSM technology makes thermomechanical rolling possible over the complete product size range.

The RSM orders in 2006 came from Acindar, Jindal Steel and Power, Jindal South West Steel, Ovako Wire and CMC Zawiercie.
