The NPort 1200 Series is a new line of USB-to-serial hubs that expand Moxa's product line into a new application field.

The NPort 1200 Series is a new line of USB-to-serial hubs that expand Moxa's product line into a new application field The plug and play NPort 1200 Series of USB-to-serial hubs feature either two RS422/485 or four RS232 ports that allow users to connect easily to serial devices via the USB interface

In addition, these products come with industrial-grade features, such as terminal block power or bus power input, DIN-rail mounting and 16kV ESD surge protection, making the NPort 1200 Series reliable for industrial environments.

USB is now one of the most popular communication buses in the world, mainly because it is easy-to-use and allows a transmission speed up to 12Mbit/s.

In fact, many digital peripherals, such as digital cameras and Flash disks, are equipped with a USB interface, and most PCs and notebooks come with USB ports as a standard specification.

The NPort 1200 Series of USB-to-Serial Hubs are truly plug and play, and are designed for industrial applications.
