The CP-118U is a smart multiport serial board that supports up to eight RS232/422/485 serial ports and features a 128byte FIFO buffer and burst data mode using the Moxa Turbo Serial Engine.
The CP-118U is a smart multiport serial board that supports up to eight RS232/422/485 serial ports and features a 128byte FIFO buffer and burst data mode using the Moxa Turbo Serial Engine This feature greatly reduces the CPU loading, and allows CP-118U to communicate bidirectionally at speeds up to 921.6Kbit/s per port, with an industry-leading throughput of more than 700Kbit/s for an eight-port RS232 application
In addition, the CP-118U accepts 3.3/5V Universal PCI and single 5V DC power input.
It can fit into almost any kind of standard or compact sized host computer in POS, retail, hospitality and other industrial automation applications.
For industrial automation applications, the CP-118U features 15kV ESD surge protection.
A wide variety of connector options (DB9, DB25, RJ45 cables and external wiring boxes) makes it suitable for almost all kinds of wiring environments.
