The Exter T150-bl-sr 15in touch screen unit has a black, powder-coated, aluminium frame and housing that provides IP66 protection while reducing reflected glare.
MAC Solutions has released the Exter T150-bl-sr 15in touch screen unit from Beijer Electronics, an HMI with a sun-readable display that suits use in marine and offshore applications.
10in and 7in versions will be released later in the year.
Unpredictable maritime light conditions can often limit the effectiveness of other operator panels, but the Exter sun-readable panel is actually easier to read in direct sunlight.
It has a clear, high-resolution screen, a TFT display and a 100% dimmable backlight for the best possible night-time vision.
The Exter T150-bl-sr is tested and approved by the major nautical classification societies, including DNV and Germanischer.
