Meridium is to play a key role at the forthcoming Electric Power 2002 Conference, sponsoring the Plant Manager's Roundtable and presenting as part of the Generating Asset Portfolio Management track.

The conference, to be held from 19th to 21st March 2002 in St Louis, Missouri, has grown to become the meeting place of choice for the power generating industry's operating and engineering management.

"Power companies today face greater competition and pressure for profitability than ever before", said Bob Matusheski, Senior Reliability Consultant, Meridium.

"Meridium brings stealth capacity to these companies by ensuring all assets have the highest reliability and availability possible, through the most cost-effective means possible.

Electric Power 2002 is an excellent venue for power industry executives to learn how to improve reliability, availability and profitability".

Matusheski will present "Asset reliability for the deregulated electric power economy" during the "Stealth capacity: leveraging your assets" track.

In this session, delegates will learn how to plan and execute an enterprise wide asset reliability program, leverage robust analytical tools such as reliability modelling and view examples using real plant data.

Delegates can also experience a hands-on demonstration of the Meridium Enterprise Reliability System during the exhibition portion of the conference.
