Meterman has a new low-cost infra-red thermometer.
The meters are suitable, for example, when installing, building, troubleshooting, servicing and maintaining electrical power and lighting, small appliances, environmental controls and automotive circuits.
The Meterman AD40A/DM73B electrical kit includes a Meterman DM73B probe-style multimeter with a digital display offering up to 3400 counts, and an analogue bargraph.
This meter measures AC and DC voltages up to 600V, with Category III safety approval up to 300V and Category II up to 600V, measures resistances up to 34Mohm and features an audible continuity tester.
Other functions include a 'data hold' facility, diode test, and automatic power-off after a limited period of non-use.
The weight is just 86g excluding batteries.
The Meterman AD40A mini clamp meter, also included in the electrical kit, is a safety category III meter which features a 4000-count display with analogue bargraph for measuring AC up to 400A.
Designed for use with conductors up to 25.4mm in diameter, it also has a 'data hold' pushbutton to capture the reading, an auto power-off function and a low battery indicator.
The AD40A/DM73B electrical kit is available until the end of November.
