The new Meterman ECB50E circuit breaker finder comprises a plug-in transmitter module, for UK-type 3-pin sockets, and a handheld tracer module.

The transmitted coded signal can be traced throughout the wiring circuit by probing with the sensor on the end of the handheld module.

This microprocessor-controlled unit features adjustable tracing sensitivity, with the ability to locate circuits up to 150m in length and 40cm deep, outperforming other products currently on the market.

The tracer module offers a visible and audible detection signal, as well as a low-battery warning indicator.

With a recommended retail price of GBP 46, the Meterman ECB50E comprises the plug-in transmitter module, the handheld tracer unit and a 9V battery.

It comes with Meterman's one year "no hassle" warranty.

The ECB50E is featured in the "Meterman Test Tools product catalogue 2004", along with the latest XP Series of digital multimeters (DMMs).
