High-pressure regulators get gas under
control
The latest Belgas direct acting high-pressure regulators are designed for reducing high inlet pressures down to lower supply pressures suitable for precision regulator control.
The latest Belgas direct acting high-pressure regulators now available from Marsh Bellofram Europe have been designed for reducing high inlet pressures down to lower supply pressures suitable for precision regulator control Typical applications include the oil and gas, chemical, processing and pipeline transmission systems, but they can also be used for compressed air and other non-corrosive gases

Electro-pneumatic pressure controls re-engineered
The proven type 3000 electro-pneumatic pressure control devices from Marsh Bellofram have been re-engineered to provide separate models for general industrial use and for test benches
The rugged design of the all-purpose regulator also makes it particularly useful in natural gas and propane applications.
This PO39 series of regulators has been designed as the first-cut regulator in high-pressure systems for low-pressure downstream supplies to control equipment, instrumentation or catalytic heaters.
They offer an economical alternative to conventional high-pressure regulators, and can be supplied with natural or nickel-plated brass bodies, with stainless steel versions also available for use offshore or with more aggressive flow mediums.
They are suitable for upstream pressures up to 379bar when used with nonflammable gases, and can be supplied pre-set for various levels of downstream pressure operation.
These provide more precise levels of control in six pressure ranges from 0-2.1bar up to 0-34.5bar.
For even greater versatility, three choices of seat material can also be fitted including nylon, CTFE and PTFE for maximum compatibility with a wide range of flow mediums.
Of particular use for offshore operations where aggressive mediums are involved, the valve bottom cover can be removed and the seat holder rotated through 90 degrees.
This effectively provides four separate seats, prolonging the regulator active life and counteracting the effects of accelerated wear associated with oil patch applications.
Where Class 1 flammable gases are involved, the upstream operating pressure is limited to 200bar.
Two choices of valve operation are also offered, either manual tee-bar or hexagon head for spanner or Allen socket adjustment.
The regulator is supplied with 0.25in NPT ports, one inlet and two outlet as standard.
Provision is also available for a third outlet port if required to cover various pipework requirements or the fitting of a pressure gauge.
A 40-micron filter screen is incorporated and the operating temperature range is -40 to +106C.
