Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Mar 31, 2008

CPU options range from AMD Geode LX 800s for dedicated applications up to Intel Celeron M 600MHz and 1.0GHz processors for enhanced applications.

New from MSC Tuttlingen, the BC embedded panel is designed for installation in cabinets, desks and swivel frames.

Each unit comes with either a 12.1 or 17in TFT touchscreen and an IP65 protected front plate made of stainless steel (V2A).

CPU options range from AMD Geode LX 800s for dedicated applications up to Intel Celeron M 600MHz and 1.0GHz processors for enhanced applications.

All processors are passively cooled.

The computer provides two USB 2.0 connectors and an Ethernet interface.

These embedded panels are ideal for client applications: for example, a system equipped with a Geode LX 800 CPU is ready to use as a web terminal or VNC client.

The preinstalled operating system is based on Linux and contains the appropriate client software and remote maintenance utilities.

Devices with Celeron M CPUs are equipped with more RAM and CompactFlash capacity.

These panels are installed with Windows XP Embedded, and are intended for OEM systems, such as ERP clients in production areas.
