The Focus PC is designed to function as a fully featured operator panel for fitting into space-constrained surroundings with an installation depth as little as 77mm.

New from MSC Tuttlingen, the Focus is a compact panel PC with a 12.1in TFT display.

The Focus is designed to function as a fully featured operator panel for fitting into space-constrained surroundings, and its installation depth can be as little as 77mm.

The front panel is IP65 protected and has no ledges.

Customers can modify the layout and colouring of the front, which also provides assembly space for further controls, such as an emergency stop button.

The Focus panel PC is based on a rugged single-board computer, and integration with almost any type of automation system is simplified by the provision of dual Ethernet, RS232/485 and fieldbus modules for the most popular standards.

Six USB 2.0 ports complete the lineup of interfaces, two of them are available from the front under a IP65-protected cover.

The Focus industrial PC offers CPU options up to Pentium M 745 (1.8GHz), and a fanless model with a ULV Celeron M processor is also available.

Typical power consumption ranges from 12W for the fanless panel up to 32W for the most powerful system.
