The new 991R and 993R DC spark-free generator bars from Meech eliminate the incidences of flash-over often experienced when static generator bars are directly coupled to a high voltage supply

The new 991R and 993R DC spark-free generator bars from Meech greatly improve operator safety by eliminating the incidences of flash-over which are often experienced when static generator bars are directly coupled to a high voltage supply.

The 991R is designed for use with the Meech range of 40kV high voltage DC static generators and the 993R for the 20kV unit.

Both models are constructed of light-weight PVC extrusion incorporating positively coupled titanium emitter pins which avoid tripping-out and sparking on intermittent applications.

The bars operate by generating current and discharging it from the emitters in the form of a corona, from which the current flows to the nearest earth or to the opposite polarity.

The new bars also offer a removable emitter pin option, which ensures optimum performance of the bar throughout the lifetime of the system.

In addition, the overall design of the bars has been made slimmer to facilitate bar location and installation even in positions that have previously been difficult to access.
