High-temperature bearings are lubricated
for life
Bearings and thrust washers offer greatly increased oxidation resistance without sacrificing their self-lubricating properties, resulting in longer life.
Metcar Grade 2500 and Metcar Grade 9800 are the latest additions to the Resistox family of high temperature mechanical grades from Metallized Carbon Corporation Treated with a specially formulated oxidation inhibitor, these bearings and thrust washers offer greatly increased oxidation resistance without sacrificing their self-lubricating properties, resulting in longer life

Bearing materials resist wear
Bearings manufactured from Metcar materials are self-lubricating, nongalling, dimensionally stable and have high compressive strength.
For operating temperatures between 370 and 540C, Metcar Grade 2500 is ideal for general purpose high temperature applications where conventional lubricants would breakdown and fail.
Metcar 9800 addresses extreme temperature installations between 540 and 590C, such as furnaces, dryers, high temperature conveyors and dampers.
Bearings manufactured from Metcar materials are self-lubricating, nongalling, dimensionally stable and have high compressive strength.
Boasting remarkable resistance to oxidation, Metcar materials are completely homogeneous and provide continuous lubrication for their service life, making them an excellent candidate for bearings and bearing assemblies for applications in extreme temperature conditions.
