From Missler Software, Top Solid Electrode is an integrated Top Solid module for the design of electrodes It lets designers create electrodes and manages all stages of the electrode design from the sheet creation to electrode diving direction and dimensioning
Spark gaps can be modified by the operator.
Once the electrode has been created, it manages height adjustment, base rotation and insertion of mandrels.
Features include: automatic creation of electrode geometry; prolongation of drafts if required; offsets for electrical discharge gaps; reliable collision detection thanks to a stable environment; direct link to manufacturing; creation of drawings for the shop floor; and transfer of measurements to be verified.
It will be launched in early 2006.
