Modular distribution for mains power
A new range of mains distribution units from Multipulse Electronics features a modular design that makes them simple to incorporate into any enclosure where mains power outlets are required.
The product has been designed to offer service organisations a fast fault reporting service using its DialPulse feature.
The DialPulse feature reports any alarm monitored immediately, often before the customer is aware that a problem exists, and so removes the need for constant manual checks by local staff.
Consequently, field service engineers can be called to site immediately, to the precise location with the correct spares and therefore improving the service level to the customer.
The DialPulse feature allows direct notification to field engineers by providing the capability of dialling up to eight separate devices made up of pagers, SMS mobile phones or PCs for any alarm or combination of alarms detected.
The user can also dial into the DialPulse unit from the management hub for an up-to-date report of device status.
Hardware variations come in a small stand-alone unit that can be incorporated virtually anywhere within the system enclosure to a 1U 19in rack-mounted unit, depending on the level of alarm management required.
Typical alarms monitored are access control, building management, environmental, fire alarm, flood and water ingress, power supply, security and almost any other type of device.
