MTL and Byres Security announces a cooperative agreement to develop, manufacture and distribute a revolutionary new product for securing both new and legacy SCADA and process control systems The Tofino Security System, which has been developed in response to continuing concern over industrial data and control system security, is designed to provide personal firewall and intrusion detection for operators stations, PLC, RTU and DCS systems
Tofino aims to simplify security, offering a system that can be installed by an electrician or instrumentation engineer, without training, whilst providing fully comprehensive security that can be monitored on or off site.
This is the first time MTL will offer security products for the control market.
